We've found that the html support conficts with the smtp module that we need to send emails. At now we don't have a soution for this so we keep sending plain text emails. This is not good since we have html in comments and when you receive a notification about a new comment you will see the html tags shown in plain text, indeed.
We will work on this before the 1.0 release.

I have registered for Gimp Gallery.

However after I registered I receive the following errors:

First thing, you need to login to post comments. Otherwise you have to wait an admin to approve it.
Thank you for your report, this error began on yesterday and i don't know why, actually.
But the same happened in inkscape gallery and it could be due to a module i installed in the last days on both the websites.
What i need to know is taht you received the email after registering. This is critical, because if you didn't receive that mean that you don't have the password to login here in gimpgallery.
i'll try tomorrow to investigate this problem

I just realizad that a post by an anonymous user breaks the user stats.
I approved the comment i was answering to and the user resulted as a power user, registered 30 years ago and with an overstated number of posts.
We have to investigate this too.

I have tried to register a couple of times. However when the registration process ends it displays an error message stating that there was an error sending the e-mail.

I seem to be registered but do not have a password to login.

I never received the conformation e-mail with the password.

I do seem to be registered as Highwayman but I have no password.
I have tried to request the password to be sent to me but I receive the following error:

Unable to send mail. Please contact the site admin.

Yes, i realized we had problem with our provider, who broke out mailing system.
They told us they have been working on this, but i noticed that something it's still wrong.
Hope to fix this in a while.
