Hello from the gimp gallery team. Now you're going to create your account, we need to know your username only and we'll give you a temporary password sending you an e-mail, so you need to give us a real mail address. If you chose the artist role, you have more fields to fill cause you are creating a full profile page that will be linked to your personal gallery, so we suggest you to fill all the fields, but only your first and last name are really required. After logging in gimp gallery for the first time you will be asked for password change, then we suggest to add your avatar, you may choose to upload your own (55x55px) image or select one in our list.
